The album Dangerous Woman is the Third studio album of the Pop and RnB singer Ariana Grande. This album deviates itself from Grande’s first two albums called “Yours Truly” and “My Everything”, by being edgier and more sexual. In Dangerous Woman, we see Ariana Grande reclaiming her sexuality with songs such as “Into you” or “Side To Side”, a track shared with the american rapper Nicki Minaj where we can hear Ariana reclaim her sexuality. To go with this change in music style, the appearance of the Album Cover is also very sexual. We can see Ariana Grande in a BDSM bunny costume in latex. 

 

The song that I chose to show you is “Dangerous Woman”, that shares its name with the Album itself. This song separates itself from the singer’s previous songs by having way more sexual lyrics. When asked about the meaning of the song, Ariana Grande explains that this song is about “empowerment, strength and romance” she later describes “Dangerous Woman” as a persona that is “fearless, honest, no bulls and superhuman” she goes further by explaining that the Dangerous Woman persona is something that we all have inside of us, and that we just have to decide to let her out.
